Here’s what we’re following right now…
-WSB has a new face with a familiar last name. Monday was Justin Farmer’s first day at WSB. He is the son of well-known former Channel 2 anchor Don Farmer. Justin comes to Atlanta from WFAA in Dallas.
-Rumor has it that WGCL is going HD in the very near future. CBS46 is broadcasting from what appears to be a temporary set.
Back in June we sent them an email asking when they were going HD, here’s what they had to say “We have not determined the official start date, but very soon!“ Keep it here for more updates as they happen!
Update on WXIA’s Move:
WXIA is now broadcasting from their new home on Monroe in Midtown. The first broadcast from there was back on July 27. The set has a few minor tweaks, but is pretty much the same. In the background you can see the new less than impressive “Information Center.”
